KDE network manager mockup

As you might know, the "JavaScript Jam Sessions" contest is on the way, at plasma.kde.org. Since I've realized that I don't have enough time or energy to implement it, but I would love to see it in the KDE desktop, I've decided to release the design for public use.

If it's going to be done in javascript or python, I would love to take a look and help (even if the entry will be used for the contest, I have no interest in the prizes).

The idea as you can see is to display the wireless networks in a more accessible way, sorted by signal strength. Eventual metadata about them (encryption mostly) can be presented as the small black pills on top of the icon.

Connections to the wireless network should be presented dotted, the ones to the wired lines as a straight line (you can see that we have a connection to a wireless access point).

If the Internet is accessible the blue globe from the top right should be blue, otherwise it should be grayed out.

Here is my kde-look entry.

You can download the full XCF (gimp) file from here.
